Viewing Color Formulations
To get to the Formulations page from the Ultramix Online Splash page, click on the Color Formulations button, or from anywhere else in the website just click on the Formulations tab at the top of the page.
The Formulations page displays a color selector at the top of the page. The default color type when you first come to this page is Pantone® simulated colors and the default color is Pantone® 100C.
The formulation data grid in the middle of the page lists the following information for each ingredient in the selected formulation:
- the part number
- the ingredient name
- the relative composition
- the exact mixing grams for the selected batch size
- the calculated cost of the ingredient
If the user is logged in and has entered custom prices, those prices are used in the cost calculation, otherwise the ingredient list prices are used.
Click the drop-down list and select a different color, then click the Update Formulation button to change to that color. The formulation data grid will be repopulated with the new formulation.
Tip: After clicking the drop-down list, you can type the first few numbers or characters of the color name to find it in the list. The list will shift as you type to locate the closest match to what you have typed.
To switch between Pantone® and Custom color formulations, click the PMS/Custom radio button in the color selector. The drop-down list will refresh to list the color type chosen.
Note – if you are not logged in the Custom radio button will not be available.
